What is Venuella?
Venuella is an early-stage online search and booking platform dedicated exclusively to wedding venues. A specialized marketplace where couples can find, filter, compare, and book the ideal location for their wedding celebration across Europe. The platform provides a centralized experience, allowing users to explore a diverse range of venues and make informed decisions based on their desired location, capacity, style, budget, and amenities, as well as direct booking or submitting an enquiry to the venue owner/manager.
In this case study, our team designed clickable low- and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. You can explore the full experience by clicking the link below.

-
Expanding business requirements, including requests to add future features such as photographer and wedding attire discovery.
-
Designing for scalability while keeping the current experience focused and easy to navigate.
-
Balancing present user needs with future product visions, without overloading the core experience.
What I learned
-
The most important thing our team learned was to express ourselves and our ideas to prevent further problems.
-
Time management is very important, especially in group projects. Missing a deadline has a very deep effect on the other’s role impact.
-
As UX Designers, we should consider marketing and business aspects as we work on the design as well. The application needs to have a financial benefit for both sides to keep them motivated.
Next Steps
-
Test the high-fidelity designs with the users
-
Add language options because not all seniors may be fluent in English
-
Create screens for a few other Task Flows and design a responsive website
-
Introduce AI
-
Let the user choose the specific brand and type of product
-
Recommend recipes based on their diet
